Following on from last week's post on, What I've Learn So Far From 4K Photography, we've produced this very short tutorial video, which walks through the edited + photo selecting process on the LUMIX 4K LX100. Hopefully you find the video easy to follow, and yes I'm aware that I sound a little wooden (this talking lark isn't really my speciality!).
It gives you a better idea about how I've been achieving certain shots, and capturing precise moments using the 4K Photo technology. Next up I'll be sharing some 4K photos from my recent trip to Marrakech.
Great video, good to see how it works!

The Lumix takes beautiful videos and images! Love! And so nice to hear your voice Mat! :)
ReplyDeleteMaan, i LOVE your accent :) you did so well on this video. And i absolutely love those shots of the bird. I always had trouble with my camera capturing motion and this looks just perfect!
ReplyDeleteClever idea this. Can't remember how many times I've wanted to just steal a frame from a video and turn it into a photo. Looking forward to your photos from Marrakech! J

I sound a little nasally on that video for some reason. Did I sound different to you imagined?
ReplyDeleteThat's nice Jane, thanks so much! Maybe hearing people's voices does make you feel a little more involved.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kat, hope it puts it into a bit of context now.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it, only a short one and not a "fun" video but hopefully it gives more context to what I've been working on.
ReplyDeleteNot at all! You sounded just like i imagined! :D
ReplyDeleteAh that's nice!
ReplyDeleteAnd how do you get those gorgeous colors? I liked the first Lumix post you did so much that I ended up recommending the G7 camera to my boyfriend and he's really happy with it. Only does a really bad job with low light but I think that's the kit lens' fault. How does the LX100 fare?

I think that's down to the camera, the subject and the settings I've been using. Really cool to hear you suggestion the G7, I think that's a little more powerful that the LX100. Ah really, that's interesting. I haven't used the LX100 in low light actually, so I can give that a go and get back to you. I've just posted a short review of the camera online today.
ReplyDeleteThat would be awesome. I'm curious to see if it's the camera or us not doing a good job with it haha!
ReplyDeleteGreat explanation. Really learned it. So thanks.
