Airbnb is such a great resource, not only for when you actually need to find somewhere to stay, but also for a bit of travel day-dreaming. You know, when you surf around the web, looking for some inspiring pictures, places, and info. Road trip planning, pinning, etc...
We've done just that and searched through Airbnb to find some real gems. We'll be sharing our favourites over the next few months.

First up, is this off-grid house in Pioneertown, California. Named as one of the Best Homes in America, by Dwell, it's stunning on the inside and has staggering views out across the cactus-filled desert. Located just near Joshua Tree National Park.
We love it!
I love the look of this place, especially the fire.
ReplyDeleteAirbnb is always my first port of call for accommodation, unfortunately I can't afford to stay in the coolest of cool places like this haha!
ReplyDeleteCan I please move in like, right now?

Oh man, so tempted to book up despite being skint!
ReplyDeleteI just want to travel to try Airbnb! I read a lot about it and it seems to be amazing!
ReplyDeleteThose places you're showing... In love!

Great find, and not too far from where I live! Would be a perfect weekend getaway!
ReplyDeleteHow close are you to Pioneer? Seems like an interesting place.
ReplyDeleteGo for it!
ReplyDeleteImagine! I don't think many of us could just drop and go.
ReplyDeleteYep, me neither or it means a big ol' saving up!
ReplyDeleteIt would be a dream, right?
ReplyDeleteYou could being American!
ReplyDeleteWow stunning! Specially the bedroom part!

Gorgeous location and home! Certainly a gem!
ReplyDeleteI've always been a fan of Airbnb! Looking forward to seeing what gems you've managed to uncover with all your scrolling.

What a place to stay, looks incredible. AirBnB is so handy! Went on a 2 week holiday island hopping in the Azores and could almost always find a cheap, beautiful place to stay last minute on AirBnB. Looking forward to seeing what you manage to find on there :)

This is totally dreamy! I've had a lot of great experiences with Airbnb. It's nice to return to a "home" while traveling, and I find that the hosts are usually really nice and interesting people.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I love this place! The modern design and remote location are absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAbout 2.5 hrs by car. Not bad, right?
ReplyDeleteI actually regularly browse Air BnB when I am bored for a bit of travel-daydreaming but also to have a peek into other people's homes. I'm amazed at the amazing places you can get on there! I've only stayed in one Air BNB and had a great experience, definitely hope to stay in some more!
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what we did - and decided we should start sharing some of our discoveries. There's one coming up soon that's at the top of a massive tower in London. It's so cool, I'm actually thinking of booking a room there for one night...even though I only live ten minutes away!
ReplyDeleteThought you might :-)
ReplyDeleteI've only stayed in a couple, but they've always been great quality and brilliant value. One we stayed in was on a hilltop in Ibiza. All alone, miles from anywhere, you could just look at over the ocean from the pool. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteSounds brilliant! I need to do a bit more Airbnb travelling really. This place is definitely on the dream list...
ReplyDeleteYou know us Jordan...always uncovering the gems ;-)
ReplyDeleteOooh intrigued! Have you seen that you can stay in the clock tower at St Pancras station too? Crazy space.
ReplyDeleteThat's the one on our list to post about!
ReplyDeleteThat makes a lotta sense to me, we need to get one for our next trip away.
ReplyDeleteDid you blog about your experience?
ReplyDeleteShould make for a nice series.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a treat, the town is also a very curious place; invented as a film set.
ReplyDeleteNot at all!
ReplyDeleteI touched on it here, although it's mostly on the holiday
ReplyDeleteThis place looks incredible! I'd love to go back to LA. There's some amazing ones in the UK, I definitely need to put AIR BNB to good use.
