Wearing - Natural Selection Coat, Shirt + Jeans | TRiCKETT x Ebbets Cap | Harry Stedman White T-Shirt | adidas Stan Smith | Anonymousism Socks
Getting my pose on with Natural Selection in London last week. And that my friends, is about the most "fashion" thing I've ever said. I first came across this brand when I was at uni, constantly browsing - but never buying - on Coggles. Not for one minute did I think I'd be doing a bit-of-the-old-modelling for them five years later. Well, I say modelling but let's just call it, "trying not to laugh", as I know I ain't no model. My Nan would probably disagree.
Me + Nik headed to London Fields in East London to meet up with the Natural Selection team. It's an area I've never been to before but given the opportunity I'd love to spend more time there. Other than being harangued by some wiseguy claiming that he was a better rapper than Eminem, it was refreshing being away from Central London for once. We wandered down the canal, through the park and back up to Broadway Market for a pint in the Cat & Mutton. Have you ever been down to London Fields?
Above I'm wearing the Mackinaw Jeep Coat, Isis Tartan Shirt and Narrow C-Raw Jeans, all by Natural Selection, along with my own white t-shirt and trainers.

Aren't Nan's the best :)

Great pics! That coat has a great classic look to it but I like how the styling gives it a slightly sporty vibe.

Thanks Rae. There's something that makes me feel a little exposed when posting stuff like this on here, but it seems to go down well.
ReplyDeleteI've been wrapped up with uni work. Final year, final push.
ReplyDeleteand yes, stunning is the word I used and would use again. :P
Thanks Pedro, I appreciate that!
ReplyDeleteHey Lola, not heard from you for yonks now, what's been going on? STUNNING, calm down now! Thanks for having a nosey.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely comment Olivia. Sadly I don't actually live in London, I was just visiting for the day.
ReplyDeleteI'm so fashion Jane, it's untrue. Either had I until I was told we were meeting there, just an idea with a big park and some markets. run down in the main but nice canal and quaint houses.
ReplyDeleteWell worth having a look for a "real" slice of London
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the photo of you walking, I instantly thought, "Whoa, Matt's gettin' his pose on", haha. Looking good though! I like the checks in your shirt. The color looks really rich in this lighting!
ReplyDeleteI'm slightly embarrased that I look so posy but I do like the photos, and it was nice to get to work with a British brand on it too. Thanks Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteIt's worth going for a more real look at London, have you ever walked down any of the canals?
ReplyDeleteThanks Vanessa, and same for Philly. We should do a trip one day.
ReplyDeleteNeat! Getting your pose on suits you, loving the pictures and the sunlight in there!
