Jamboree Store x Side Project Skateboards

My new found love of skateboarding and long standing relationship with intriguingly designed products meet head-on, with the release of a set of limited edition boards, by Side Projects for online menswear store Jamboree. This 7-piece collection (one board per design) has been designed in the UK and handmade entirely in the USA by the Houston, Texas-based skateboard team; who specialise in unique, vintage-inspired pieces.

Each board has been handcrafted from start to finish using rich Cherry Maple and Walnut Wood; both chosen for their structural integrity as well as their pleasing aesthetic qualities. Colours and patterns used take inspiration from 60's American Skate + Surf culture, which really does seem like the peak time for exploration and adventure; to have been a kid then hey? I'm determined to teach myself to skate this summer!

The Jamboree x SPS collection will be available 29th May via Jamboree's new "Mercantile" store.

  1. Dude! I was actually going to use you as an example and actually comment that there isn't a lot of buckets and spades going on at your blog when referencing choice of blog name, it's funny because although i do follow you on bloglovin, i do end up just typing your blog into search engine and every time i get an ad to buy actual buckets and spades! These skateboards look sweeet, pink and blue one definitely my fave. How are you going about teaching yourself? i am forever impressed by the skateboarders i find on campus

  4. These are beautiful. I love it when there is integrity in not only the design, but production as well. I'd definitely love to get my hands on ones of these.
