Classic British children's cartoon Mr Benn has been immortalised in the form of a limited edition range of pocket squares, by London shirt markers Turnbull & Asser. Four original pieces of artwork have been design by the cartoon's creator + illustrator, David McKee, taking the audience of one of many of Mr Benn's infamous adventures. Each design is based around the show's first episode, "Red Knight", which aired back in 1971.
Limited to 50 pieces for each design, the Mr Benn's Adventures Pocket Squares will be available exclusively this May at Turbull & Asser.
I'm in London for a couple of days so sorry if I've not replied to your comments + emails!

ReplyDeleteActual amazing-ness.
ReplyDeletelovely...i like the last one as well..
ReplyDeletepocket squares, what? awesome
ReplyDeletenever heard of mr. benn, but the illustrations are ace! (did I use that word correctly? haha!)
ReplyDeleteThese are such adorable illustrations. How lovely that they're turning them into something as personal as a pocket square.
ReplyDeleteI vaguely remember this show, my mom grew up in the 70s and I always remember her talking about Mr Benn's adventures. The illustrations are stunning, very nostalgic, the style reminds me a lot of the childrens books I had to read at school.
ReplyDeleteHope you're all gravy! I've not been on much, feeling a bit at a loss. Been covering shifts to save, looking into buying a mac at the moment but need to adobe suite with it, it's a killer of a buy - even with the student discount!
