Bridging the gap between the outdoors and skate/street culture is a natural progression, one which has been adopted with much praise by several brands; North Face, Topo Designs, Marmot, Patagonia to name a few. Outdoor clothing lends itself very easily to streetwear, their connection rests on similar values - performance, practicality and sports.
Set clothing has been on my radar for the past couple of weeks; a recommendation via a friend on Facebook (any recommendations just get in touch). I'm always looking to discover UK brands and Set are just that - Based in Stockton-on-Tees, North East England, the brand was born out of the love of skate culture and the great outdoors, with the likes of finishing, climbing and hiking being a factor.
In their current range you'll find a considered selection of Baseball Caps, Bucket Hats and Beanies, Printed T-Shirts (my favourite being the Stayset Mountain T-Shirt) and Note Pads etc...which can all be seen in their AW lookbook above. Nice to discover a UK-based brand catering towards a market which is usually dominated by the US.
