For AW14 we see Marshall Artist push the boundaries in garment technology. Teflon coating is a technology most often associated with cookware (pots, pans etc.) so to use it on clothing is pretty unusual, especially on fleece. Invented accidentally, and used by the chaps at NASA, Teflon coating is a spray on coating that sits on top of the fabric and acts as an invisible barrier. This gives the sweatshirt a waterproof shield were water will just sit on the fabric and not soak in. Here is a short video and image I did showing this:
The technology in this sweatshirt is fantastic, and something I have never seen on a garment like this before. Team that with the added touches with the mesh lined pocket, paneling to the sleeves and clean branding and it is hard to see how you can go wrong here. A great sweatshirt with bags of technology to-boot. I for one am very impressed, hats off M.A. - Dan.

The details really elevate this beyond a regular sweatshirt. I know that teflon can be added to upholstery fabrics so I guess it's logical that it moves onto clothing.
