Ceramic "Inflatable" Sculptures by Brett Kern


Brett Kern creates these incredible ceramic sculptures which replicate the looks of inflatable toys. Using a techniques which he has perfected to a tee, Kern plays on all the little details we associate with rubber toys - Crease, soft rounded edges, wrinkles, fades and even the stopper. The result is a realistic, charming and slightly surreal take on modern art. Expect to see more of the same, including a bunch of whoopee cushions, here.
