Apparently last Sunday was International Coffee Day but surely that's every day for a lot of us, so with that in mind here's how to make the best cup of coffee EVER! I just need all the gadgets to go with it and I'm set. Created by Bespoke Post for their Box of Awesome.
A couple of weeks ago we tried out Takk in Manchester for the first time, really nice place and I definitely recommend trying their Flat White. Do you have a favourite coffee shop, I'd love to hear about them?

Mm, every day is indeed coffee day.
ReplyDeleteOh man, whenever I hear any story like this I can't help but be reminded of my Starbucks days and "brand standards".
ReplyDeleteConversely, I love a good independent. I used to visit one called Panini in my home town ALL the time. The girls in there were top-notch baristas, and you didn't get the false chit chat unless you wanted it, which makes a nice change.
Can't beat a good flat white!
I need to watch this! I'm awful at making coffee in a pot. I really want a french press.
ReplyDeleteIf you're ever in Leeds drop by Mrs Ather's, I was there at the weekend and I was blown away. It looks very unassuming at first glance but inside is lovely and the coffee and cake is incredible. The gents in there were very sartorially minded which you might appreciate, they were all wearing denim aprons which I think are made by Dawson Denim in Brighton and looked excellent.
ReplyDeleteOn second thought, it wasn't so unassuming as I clocked it straight away as somewhere I definitely wanted to go when I walked past haha
ReplyDeleteHi Matthew, my favourite coffee is Blue Mountain, one of my best friends sells it online all the way from Jamaica where her husbands from. Always good to get great coffee making tips!
ReplyDeleteThis is a thing of beauty... And I want that tea pot!
ReplyDeleteI don't but I realized French press tastes better than popular in States drip. Going to watch the video now...
