This really is the good stuff, just imagine receiving this set from the Small Batch Bourbon Collection. Now I don't profess to be an expert and haven't got the "nose" you here so much about but after stumbling into a whiskey tasting session at Beacons Festival, it's proper given me a taste for it. From now on I'll be making more of an effort to try ones I would normally avoid because of the price tag or for lack of knowledge.
I reckon the Small Batch collection would be a pretty good starting point.

Hey Matt,
ReplyDeleteI followed your link to the smallbatch.com website and was happy to find that the entire set is fat free. Hooray for healthy alternatives. There is however a dilemma - the bottles seem to nice to open while the bourbon is too nice to not - what to do?
I've only ever had one out of the four you listed. Knob Creek is nice and smooth, but I dont really have the "nose" either, so that's the best description you'll get from me. I too look forward to honing my skills
ReplyDeleteThe packaging is amazing on these - I am not a whiskey fan, butI think these would look pretty good in the bar cart I don't yet own but am definitely going to one day!
ReplyDeleteI´m not a boubon fan, but the packaging of the bottles is really nice.
ReplyDeletewhat a nice little collection!
ReplyDeleteMy husband's favorite is knob creek. I love the sound of a small batch and stashing this for a christmas idea. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Bourbon or Whiskey lover but the Mr is, he seems to go for the really expensive malt that stinks the house out with 'oak'!
ReplyDeleteI can't drink whiskey (bad experience in my youth, lol) but I do love when I see a well designed label against the color of the alcohol (which is beautiful).
