This is most definitely my favourite find of this week by far, a super flexible shelving unit by German designer Natascha Harra-Frischkorn. Entitled "Chuck", the shelving is made from 4mm thick wood floor paneling and can be adjusted to hold variable sized books and anything else you can fit within the constraints. It's freaking beautiful if you ask me, the fact that you have the main say in how you want it to look each day is just genius. It also reminds me of the Comedy Store logo, nice.
The phrase, "Why didn't I think of that" comes to mind!

ReplyDeleteBeen away for a while. Sorry I must say I forgot what you went to school for but it all rings a bell now. If I have to take the college route that is something I think would be a big contendor in going for. Although seems like a bit hard to find complete us for it as you said.
ReplyDeleteIt's really nice to read when brands contact you to try or giveaway their products. The sweater looks super cozy. Is it a bit itchy because of the wool? Been wanting to get a fisherman style pullover(s) but haven't really found one. Plus the price point for any brand of sweater as such seems to be a bit high in my price range. Maybe I can catch something on sale since the seasons are changing. I'll definitely be checking out Next.
Nice you got some Natty products. I still can't get over that video of him. Guy is toooo cool. Turning something a bit more simple and everyday into something that's very intriguing. I'm a firm believer that everything is art no matter what it is but sometimes that slips your mind when using or seeing everyday products. I think Mr/. Natty definitely brings out an art aspect on getting a new hairdo.

Pretty neat shelving idea here. Could quite possibly make one yourself at home i'm sure. My only complaint would be the size of it. Seems a bit big and a bit un practical at times but man would it even look good in my room now. ha. Are you big on furniture design? Ever designed or even made your own stuff? I've came up with a few things myself and could quite possibly get them made do to some handy family I have but just don't have the room to put any of the creations.
