I thought I'd carry on with my monthly Instagram round up. Sometimes it's just nicer to see your images bigger than the usual  3" x 2", plus not everyone's not got the app so it's a win/win I reckon. I've been posting the odd one here and there but these round-ups tend to be more of a mixed bag.

The first few images are from my birthday o'ther Sunday,we headed down to Avenham Park in Preston for the final day of the Guild festival. I spotted the red door on the way back to the car and it got me thinking about a new project, I'm going to start snapping some doors that take my fancy (along with my ongoing project of taking photos of objects with faces but that's another story). So hopefully in a few weeks I'll have some corkers to share with you. The orange lock-ups sort of counts right? The sun is long gone now so I think we've all had it with shorts for one year, it was good while it lasted but mine are all firmly in the back of the wardrobe. But with the cooler weather comes a whole load of different clothing, including this Koto shirt I picked up in American last year, it was originally a bit too big but I've put on weight so it's ready for an outings.

So there you have it for one month. You can follow me @mat_buckets or on Instajelly. What's your handle guys?

This post includes a sponsored link, all words and thoughts are by me as usual.

  1. I like this a lot, as always. I think my favourite is either the pattern of the shirt, or the garage doors. You won't be wearing shorts again for a while, not if it's as chilly there as it is here!

  2. I'm really liking this series. I don't take a whole lot of phone pics, because my phone is 2 years old, and it sucks. I'm getting a new one in a couple of weeks when my contract is up, and I'm excited, because carrying my huge expensive camera everywhere I go isn't an option.

I have a collection of door pictures from our trip to London. I was quite impressed!

Especially like your first outfit, striped tee is always a snazzy number in my book

Also I have some major love for that front door! big high five to the snapping of front doors! I'm always on ebay swooning over doors... one day I shall have one of my own! and I know, some folks just get a bit funny when you take photographs of their stuff at boot sales pffttt

...never gonna give, never gonna give! *throws some serious rick astley shapes*

  5. Really liking the door photos. They're pretty interesting, I'd like to see more and see where this "faces" project goes.
Nice outfit photos as well. It's amazing that iphones have such stellar cameras on them. I really need to get one. In the mean time I'm glad you posted these because theres a few instagrammers out there and you that i'd like to keep up with but can't do to the lack of technology.

It's funny you used to have a members jacket as well. A lot of people hate on them, I think they're a classic piece. They just suck as an actual jacket. haha.
Well I've gotten some trousers, a pair of jeans, striped t shirt and a belt from AA. That's all I was able to get with my allowance that they gave me. They give us a killer discount though so I got a loose crew summer shirt. We recently just got in a lot of our fall items so I plan on getting quite a bit now. One thing being a white l/s oxford shirt. From seeing people try it on and looking at them they don't seem like they will have much of a see through problem. Just haven't had the time to try it on, when I do i'll let you know the verdict.

    Did you get that bike?
