J.R Watkins Aloe & Green Tea Hand Soap
You know when someone knows you when they arrive home from a holiday with your favorite hand soap. I love this stuff, J.R Watkins (I've posted about them before here) make some top notch natural products with lovely packaging to boot. But it's not a case of fake old times, this is the proper stuff. Hollie jets off the Florida a couple of times a year and always brings back ace stuff. Along with this she bought me a load of American chocolate bars and a book of old army slang, see. I've not tried the Aloe & Green Tea before but I suspect I'm in for a right treat.
I'm a no frills kind of guy, it's small stuff makes me happy. I firmly believe that lots of good small things makes the bigger more stressful things in life that much easier deal with. Whose with me?
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this yet but I've started interning at menswear store Togs + Clogs, been there for about 2 months now and everything is going good. I'm an unpaid marketing assistant right now but hopefully I can make a real difference and turn it into a paid position. You can follow my progress on their Facebook page if you wish.
I'm with you!! They are just things but little things enrich everyday monotony!
ReplyDeleteLove this!
I completely agree that its the small things that matter. I've seen this stuff before at my grocery store, but I've never tried it. I'm almost out of hand soap, maybe I'll pick some up.
ReplyDeleteSo with you! I love the no bullshit packaging, makes me want one too!
ReplyDeleteHi Matt, I wish I had a partner like Hollie to bring me exotic US goodies back! I like the sound of the army slang book, congrats on the itern position!
ReplyDeleteSharon
Good luck---I hope it works out for you.
ReplyDeleteI see those products all the time over and here, but I've never given them a go. Going to now, because I wasn't even aware they were natural.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the internship! Just keep impressing them and working hard, surely they'll take you on eventually :]
I'm with you! The little things are important in life, and this soap looks delightful.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your comment and often think that small things are more thoughtful. I'd literally take a handmade card over a snazzy high tech piece of gear anyday! There's something about handmade gifts or inexpencive thoughtful gifts that really tug at your heartstrings... I'm a romantic what can I say!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with the internship, Togs + Clogs is very you so that's fantastic news!
I love that stuff! They have the best smelling lemon room spray!
ReplyDelete(The Miss. H. comments are from me - sorry :/ new blog acct I'm testing out.)
ReplyDelete"lots of good small things makes the bigger more stressful things in life that much easier deal with" very very well said, for example: a piece of mint gum.
ReplyDeletei'm with you on the small things, like the toothpaste i bought...and anything with good packaging..haha :)
ReplyDeletei'm a sucker for cool packagings!!! Once in my life i used to collect bottles of everything. hahahaha Dont make me start again!!
ReplyDeleteI like how the small things are making you happy. This natural soap looks pretty great!
