Close Ups @ Bank

I was recently approached by Bank to look through the current stock to pick out some of my favourite items.  I've chosen to look at some of their more colourful and interesting close ups rather than plain of product shots. Buying clothes online is a tricky business, we all know this. It's hard to get the fit right, to get a proper feel for the fabric and quality so nice and clear close ups do help a bunch.

Above are a few of my favorite pieces which are all currently online. The cycling stitched chambray shirt would be a great nod to Olympic gold medalist Wiggo and the K-Way windbreaker is possibly what every person in Britain could do with, a waterproof. Superga trainers have been a firm favourite of mine for a few years, Hollie pointed out the other day that I'd suit this colour. I'm now quite tempted as my grey ones are on their last legs.

Close ups are just about the next best thing to seeing products in person. So do you prefer, Online or Offline?

  1. Those trainers are cool! Hello from a fellow northerner by the way. I believe you're from Blackpool. I'm from Lancaster originally. Hope you're enjoying the nicer weather x

  3. Wow, graet idea with this bicycle. Small thing, big impression.

From yesterday I prefer offline shopping. I bought sunglasses and when I received them quality appears as tragic.

  4. I've only bought shoes online. I'm kind of afraid to buy clothes, because it seems like it would be a hassle if something didn't fit right. Now I feel totally old, having admitted that!

I prefer offline for all of the reasons you've listed. (The stitching in the first shirt is brilliant.)

  9. The close ups really help with understanding the fine details of a product. I like a little of online and offline. Sometimes it's exciting waiting to see what something will be like when it arrives but it's just when it's a let down that it can be annoying. I think if you pick quality products you will be ok.
