Nice Things @ Objects of Use

I know I know, I don't have much use for all this stuff. I don't have a chimney, any kids or shave that much but some of the products at Objects of Use are really beautiful in their own right. If I had cleaning gear as nice as they sell I know I would make more effort around the house, plus who wouldn't like a balloon powered wooden car, that would clearly enhance my day. Most of the manufacturers have been making these products for well over 100 years, only making little tweaks here and there to create the perfect design.

Their site is filled with nice things which would make perfect little gifts, definitely worth a bookmark.

Click the links below the images for product links, visit Objects of Use for more information.

I would buy that shaving soap purely because I like the packaging! Very sweet. I would probably get too carried away with those balloon cars, I'll be racing them on my desk and knock my tea over!

That comment made me laugh, I felt the emotion as soon as the realisation kicked in- "Damn, what have I done!!" I can relate in so many ways.

When I first tried on the jeans in my photo I thought "Oh bloody hell, these aren't budging!" and then after much pain and dancing around some serious arm strengh they were fine. I did some leg strenches, very similar but not at all as impressive as John Cleese's walk in the Monty Python! Gonna be buggered when they go in the wash and I'll have to do this whole routine over again! gah!

This is possibly the best website I have ever come across! Thanks for the heads up. I am buying presents for all the men in my life from here as of now. Also maybe some things for me. Ok, definitely.
