Here's round 2 of my lead-up to Christmas Giveaway. To coincide with the Sartorial Man 2011 competition I've teamed up with Hackett to give away 3 cracking ties from their latest collection. The Sartorial Man 2011 competition is being run through their Facebook page and is now in the final voting stage, with the top prize being a chance to win an outfit of your choice. Nice one.
Competition -
As you know I like to keep things simple, so I'm giving you all 3 chances of winning here. Each tie is 100% silk and is made with a high level of finish and nice details, like the contracting slip on the back. So you can choose from turquoise and white gingham, blue and white horizontal stripe or natural and white stripe. As always I've tried to team up with brands with offer products which will be great gifts for Christmas as well as a nice treat for yourself. So guys and girls get entering!
So if you fancy one of 3 Hackett ties just comment on this post saying that you want it. That's it, no nonsense, just a comment.
I'll keep the competition open for a week (ends next 20th Dec) and I will pick the 3 winners at random on the day. Who ever gets in touch first can have first choice on which one they want. This one will be open worldwide, so for the people who missed out last time here is your chance. I'm going to try do one more competition before Christmas. The next one is a proper good treat and will suitable for all. Best of luck.

I've actually never been a big fan of ties until recently when I noticed just how crucial they are to many outfits. Since then my tie collection has grown and I don't think it should stop? ha. I would love to have one of those ties. They are so perfect for the spring!

Oh, please enter me! They would make a very swarve gift! My favourite has to be the blue and white horizontal stripe tie though, it would defintely add that extra bit of funkyness to a serious suit!
ReplyDeleteOh and I bet that's a really rewarding job. The freelance situation makes great sense, I would still need to stick at my part time job but I hope I manage to do something, a project perhaps because I love getting stuck in with crafting and so forth.
Oh and thank you for your feedback, much appriciated! Flattered about the mc escher similariies also! I'll pop that fella into my journal, haha. The surreal element is what I set out to do so it's great you noticed it.
ReplyDeleteSomeone else said that to me, if I wouldn't have mentioned the issues that were raised with the artwork they wouldn't have thought anything 'suggestive' of it, so thank you.
I've got a few things on my usb so I'll definitely upload a few to show. These are two that I created last year and painted them black with a glaze - this then suggested 'fetish' like qualities... I can't win haha. I can't find any of the black glaze though but when I do I'll show you.
I need to collect all the images together and make a Flickr just for my uni work, it would be easier! I have them scattered over a few accounts that I use for my blog!
