Inspiration - Andrew Kuo

I'm not the best at organising my life, I'm quite scattered but I hide it well. If only I could organise my thoughts as well as Andrew Kuo. I mentioned that I bought his book last week and for anything who is into graphics, colour, interesting social commentary or if you have a fondness towards graphs I seriously recommend his work. His book Worry Me What is seriously creative and witty, two thumbs up.

  2. Maybe we should both start doing this than, my mind is a mine field for messy, stress etc...
I love when something everyday, can became your inspiration for something truly artistic.

My friend has a doodle pad and it's so bloody brilliant, and cool (her doodle of her boyfriend being drunk is EPIC!, if I can sneak an iPhone pick I will) I swear I will never stop nagging her to send it off and have it published. I use to draw cartoons of what happened during the day, I should start doing it again its very relaxing. Thanks for sharing Matt.

  4. I've just posted this on my friend's wall for organisational inspiration. I think the colours would calm me down but there is something very wrong about categorising human emotion in boxes. Just sayin' ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad

In response to this post, i didnt mention that she designed my header... as I am going to do one myself. I wouldnt of mind to pay £20 but i was just proving a point that i could of done it myself and it would of been free but its always best getting the real thing and for that money and to support artists work. I didnt intend to copy or use her work for any money purposes it was just a bit of fun to prove a point to myself and it just turned ugly. I have apologised to her via email but I think she just doesnt like me all together really. Its ok because you dont have to like everyone in this world and I am not an evil person and i did love her shop and her work so i wasnt taking the piss.

  7. Hey Mat, Saw the top image and thought, that looks like 'Hubler'. But I didn't mean Hubler.. it was a wonderful design professor named Dr. Hubler, in my first year at University, who introduced us to the work of I think it was Joseph Albers. That's who did the squares.

    Here we go:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Albers

His work was all colour studies, with squares.

Now I'm curious about this book: I'll see if I can get my hands on it. Happy Easter, Mat! And thanks for stopping by.
