This week has been busy, good but busy. I've had two photos hoots for my final campaign which I mentioned a couple of posts ago and I've been knuckling down with work. Thanks for everyone's well wishes, everything went great guns so the process of editing and putting into context start now.....well soonish.
I trying not too spend much money of late, most of what I do buy is uni related or food, of course. But a couple of days ago I decided to treat myself to a new backpack, I've been chatting about it on Twitter and I plumped for the bright red Penfield number. I have a few bags but they're all mega boring colours so I went for the total opposite with bright red, what do you think?
The little details on it really make it, with leather bottom and trim, yellow pull toggle and nylon coating around the inside to project your gear from the elements. I'm getting a real taste for backpacks, I've even got my eye on this Jansport one a bit further down the line. Plans for the weekend?
If you haven't entered the Gene Meyer sock comp there's still plenty of time.

Red is my fave - so I 150% support your decision. The backpack is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI like it in red! I'm finding that not spending $ is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I get bored easily. haha.
ReplyDeleteNo plans here for the weekend.. just school work, watching a movie or two & lounging around. Hope you have a good one!
Really glad you ended up buying this one!

Lobe it, yes, LOBE. Nothing like a backpack to be practical, transportable and stylish. That red is a nice cheery-up colour for spring too. Take lots of snaps of your exhib! ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad

ReplyDeleteIve been looking for a ruck-sack that I really like & thanks to you Ive found one! ;D
ReplyDeleteLoving Hoille photos BTW, and hey it's red and a bag so it's all good in my book. Glad to hear about the photo shoots, it can be stressful trying to sort everything and getting what you want from it. I really want to shop so badly, but am so broke. Yes you can never have too many bags!
ReplyDeleteYAY rucksack! I love em, this is a great one - been craving one of those Fjallravenaodfsnckjsdfnkjfn whatever they're called ones for ages now.
ReplyDeleteBackpacks are so practical! I'm OBSESSED with that color.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, the jacket's really nice (would never have thought it was from Gap) as does the rucksack, you can't beat a bit of bright red.
ReplyDeletearh I want that backpack of yours. X
ReplyDeletebeautiful backpack - the contrast of the red definitley goes with your outfit too, which also looks good. i've become obsessed with them recentley. everytime i get money i seem to be back in eastpak to get the christopher shannon collob pieces which you should check out if you haven't seen already.
