Not too sure if I am late on this one but I bumped into these images of Ikea's new recipe book over at snOOp. I'm a sucker for anything Ikea/cooking/neatness. The images also remind me of Things Organized Neatly, which you will love it you like the above.
I can't seem to find out much more about the Ikea: Home Is Best cookery book but I'm sure you can pick it up in store now. Nice to know you can use a cookery book just for the pictures.
Ive never seen this before!! So neat.
ReplyDeleteI like things organised neatly, but i've never been THIS neat!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this book, but these pictures slightly freak me out...

ReplyDeletewell, this just further fuels my love of Ikea!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could love a brand more right now. What with this as well as the 'Happy Inside' cats advert!

That tumblr is AMAZING motivation for me to clean my room - thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhats up with fashion blogs going crazy for Ikea?! haha
ReplyDeleteThis could not possibly resemble ANYTHING I'd cook. A shame, I'm much messier (something to aspire to for me, perhaps!) jazzy ♥
ReplyDeleteThese make my ocd tendencies so delightfully happy.
ReplyDeleteWow, how cool is Ikea?? These are great as I love food photography as well, and take my fare share of food porn every few days haha.

Haha this makes me proud I worked there (only for a few weeks, but still!)
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool!
ReplyDeleteI love it. Might actually convince me to buy a cookbook rather than just borrowing them constantly until someone realizes I still have it *ahem*
ReplyDeleteIkea's marketing is always so damn good. & the colours, & the font. Those Scandanavians know good design.
it's my first time seeing this...kind of got excited!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I absolutely love this! Love all things organised and neat! Like your new layout!!!
ReplyDeleteNice one. I had not seen them. They remind me of some of Irving Penn's still lifes for Vogue. Thanks for sharing.

Whoever came up with this idea is a genius! So visually pleasing! Even if I wasn't into cooking, I'd buy the book just for the aesthetic. Makes we want to whoop out my utensils and get on with the baking
ReplyDeleteI was checking out Ikea the other day but did not see these, they are really cool (they make me want to cook?!)
ReplyDeleteHope your well hun x
Brilliant!! I think I will definitely have to start checking out Things Organized Neatly on a regular basis, too.... x
ReplyDeleteHaha this really is like the Things Organized Neatly tumblr, Steve Salter turned me onto that one :) Cool blog, why have I not come across this before? I guess it's easy to lose one's way in the vastness of the internet.
