So today is my 25th birthday and what better way to celebrate than go on a 3 mile trek up a massive hill(not quite a mountain, it's about 150ft too short to be called a mountain, officially). Pendle Hill to be exact.
Now I am flipping knackered. I've not had the best of luck over the past few days, I found out I have a large-ish uni project to be in next week, so straight away ran out to buy some printer ink. Forgot my bank card so I wasted another hour going home and coming back. Then got home and my printer decided to break, therefore I had to go out and buy a new printer on my birthday. All that and the fact I woke up feeling terribly sick.
Onwards and upwards? I could do with some words of encouragement people! Hope everyone is having better luck than I am this week.
whenever I forget things and have to return to get them I like to pretend that I avoided an accident or something terrible! Happy birthday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday .....HAPPY BIRTHDAY oh BTW hhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaapppppppppyyyyyyyyyy BBBBBIIIIRTTHDAY !!!
ReplyDeleteI just sung that, could you tell? Well I hope you have a better week a head and that you have a fun weekend. Just breath and keep a clear head, note down what you have to do and what order you will do it in. Hope this helped if not ..........
Happy birthday to ya, happy birthday :P
Happy happy birthday! You should have a full-circle adventure and hike again when you 50!.. where you hiked looks incredibly serene x
ReplyDeleteRemember that the way you spend your birthday isn't necessarily the way you'll spend the rest of the following year. I'm sure your 25th will bring lots of glorious memories!
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, hills need to meet certain requirements to be called a mountain?
Happy happy happy birthday!! Sorry it's a touch late.
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday! The pictures of your hike looked great. Too bad about your printer though. But look on the bright side, you're 25 and in your prime! Better times to come.

Oh lordy that does sound like bad luck! I would definitely have cracked. These things are sent to test us I hear. Anyway this hike sounds fun, an original way to spend the day for sure! jazzy ♥
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! You're still just a wee whipper snapper!
ReplyDeleteHope your luck improves and you have a fantastic quarter century year
Charity workers are the actual worst. I tried to do it and lasted 3 days - anyone who can hold down a job as a charity fundraiser has to be unbelievably attention seeking. They were all actual freaks!

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! Aww, seems like it just wasn't your day (despite the fact that, technically, it WAS). But just remember, a year older, a year wiser!

p.s. wow, I must say I'm impressed that a hike is your celebration of choice. Hikes are great for exercise, but I'll be honest, I've never understood those that do it for fun...so good on you! ;)
