DIY - Life In The Old Dog Yet

I've been mulling over my wardrobe over the past few months. As I have cut my spending habits and now only buying things that I think will either last the test of time or not just get bored off, I thought it would be an idea to try and revive some old stuff instead of getting rid.

Boring old chinos, a back of the cupboard jobby. So I needed to bring life back into the old dogs. I have separate painting clothes, which obviously get really messy with paint, but I always like the effect all the random paint splattering gives. I've also always had the images of Alexander McQueen's S/S 10 collection in the back of my mind, I knew I wanted to give it a bash.

A couple of blobs of acrylic paint is all I needed.

I'm like a kid when I comes to mess, still love it.

I first I thought I'd gone overboard with the paint but screw it, so I just added more.

The finished product, pretty simple really. I decided to stop at the thighs, incase I took it too far, as there's no turning back. I splashed a bid on the back pockets and lower leg too.

I haven't got a shot of me wearing them yet, as I haven't actually worn them but I will do soon. Has anyone else done any DIYs with paint before, what did it turn like? What do you think of my effort?

Keep those Ray-Ban Competition entries coming, you have until 9th July to enter if you already haven't.
