The Un-Importance Of Being Slow

This is one of the reasons for slow/very little updates this week. I'm finally getting round to painting the other side of my new room. One wall we be this turquoise colour, I'm very happy with the shade.

The other thing that has been keeping me busy with week is the photo shoot I have been helping out on for Drapers, which the company I work for has arranged. I wasn't directly involved with the shoot but along with Clare from Tweet we're helping out with interviews and "back stage" photographs ect. It was a pretty exciting day.

In other news I recently did an interview for Qype, which is sort of a online directory/community. If you get a minute check it out and let me know your thoughts. It's all about me and my blog.

Such a beautiful wall! I love the color!
About Topshop, it is the best thing from London, I guess...I go crazy about the stores, but I only have the change to buy there while I am travelling...we didn't have here in Brazil...it is so sad :)

    all my love for you,
    Kira

  11. Oh yes, Ann D's archive is the best cure for when I'm feeling uninspired about my wardrobe! :) Even though my own style is often more romantic than her androgynous looks.

I really like this turquoise shade, it reminds me of holidays at the seaside and froth-laced waves.

Lovely interview on Qype. SO NICE that you didn't name any "worst" designers. Well played! Loved the tips on Manchester - think a Matt's complete guide to the city could be in order.

  16. Finally found your blog! LOVE this colour turquoise. Will visit later - & link you - just got to go back to the TV in the other room (with no internet).

Epic is definitely the word for it. Thanks for your comment. Yeah I do wonder how many males read my blog, I'm glad you do ; )

I'll be back, it looks great.

  18. re: your comment on Van Doesburg - it is quite pricey. Thankfully at the time I was working in another museum so got reciprocal free entry, but due to the amount of stuff in there i would not have been annoyed if i had paid. still the website is such an amazing resource especially their videos etc :)
