10 Favourite Things

The other day I was given an award by Clare from Tweet, whose blog is getting a bit good now eh? To get to know each other a bit better I will share 10 of my favourite(right now, we all know things change from time to time).

1. Favourite Set Design/Illustrator/Stylist

Gary Card. This guy has such a body of work, regularlly contributing to Dazed&Confused, AnOher Man and designed for Uniqlo, Matches and Dover Street Market to name a few.

2.Favourite Shoes

The soon to be released Oliver Spencer for Topman Collection and more specifically, this navy blue suede with brick red sole. They are set for release on 10th May, I'll be online waiting.

3.Favourite Artist

Anyone that has been reading my blog for some time will know I've been pretty much obsessed with surrealism for quite a while. This all started when I visited the Salvador Dali Museum in St.Petersburg, Florida. I'm a bit crazy like that.

4.Favourite Band

My current music musing are mostly 90s and the Britpop era. Suede are doing it for me at the moment. This is mainly due to my girlfriend being so obsessed with music(and most importantly Brett Anderson, the lead singer). They are doing great things for Teenage Cancer Trust.

5. Favourite Style Blog (Non-UK)

The lads over the pond really know what style is, and no more do that Street Etiquette. I've been a follower of their ever evolving "Street Dandy"style for some time and no they are getting much earned exposure.

5.1 Favourite Style Blog (UK)

Style Salvage. This is menswear blogging at its best, I've been reading Style Salvage for many moons now and their constant updates into brands, reviews of shops, introducing new brands and uber cool satirical purchases make me green with envy. (This image is from their recent trip to the Dr Martens factory)

6. Favourite Other

It is safe to say I am totally obsessed with the solar system. It's just amazing how far we have come in 60 years of space travel. I hope everyone is watching Wonders Of The Solar System on BBC2, Sunday's at 9pm. With Prof Brian Cox.

7. Favourite Designer

Stefano Pilati at YSL. He sure knows how to dress a man.

8. Favourite Place

Orlando, Florida. I have been lucky enough to go to Orlando twice in the past 4 years, where we have stayed at my girlfriend's parents villa(not the picture above, I wish. That's a cinema near by).

9. Favourite Furniture Piece

Over the past few months I have really got into interior design, when I finally get my own place I would love to start designing my own pieces. There is so much inspiration out there, my favouite piece right now is this green chair by Adessin. "For out of season sunbathing".

10. Favourite Girl Shape

Me and my girlfriend Hollie have been together now for just over 4 years. Geez, how has she put up with me for so long? Check out her blog Lipstickk, it's all the blend of music and fashion.

So there we have it, if anyone wants to find out anything else about me, just throw your questions in the comment box and I'll be sure to swing by your blogs and answer them the best I can.
