ah yes from the French stable of prolific scriptwriters turned directors. He went to Hollywood in teh early 20s but was influenced as were many French intellectuals and filmakers by the cubist and surrealist movements. He worked a lot with the Marx bros.
yeah i did abit a research on him after i came across this film, i saw that i wrote for chaplin too. i'm going to dig out my chaplin and marx bros dvds when i get some time.
