Denim duties

Recently Steve at Style Salvage did a post about his new found love for all things denim (not just jeans), for instance, bags, shirts, suits and even shoes. To make things clearer SS created some cool mood boards/collages to take inspiration from. Feast your eyes, great job Steve!

My favorite pics from this bunch are the black denim shirt, polka dot House of Holland for Levis jeans and the blue denim bag with tan handles. Currently in the denim department (other than the standard jeans) I have a light blue denim shirt from Topman and a vintage Levis denim jacket, both which I wear quite frequently. After this I will be on the look out for a dark denim shirt and the Lanvin stuff is all top notch too, sadly way out of my price range but a boy can dream!

Since finding my denim jacket in a vintage shop last summer it's been a firm favorite, I just seem to wear it all the time. Its last outing was on Christmas Eve when we went for cocktails, I also wore my new black bowler hat (which I had to modify to fit my tiny tiny head!) and pink Marks and Spencers sock.

More exciting news, I'm writing this post from my brand spanking new Macbook which I bought the other day. It's going to take a while to get used to but I now finally am up to speed and have the new Photoshop. I feel like I'm now in some kind of special club and plus, the student discount is a blessing.

  2. its tricky but the more you use it the more i helps, i know that obvious but using it for a few days is the best way. its strangely addictive when everything is going your way.
